See how BodyFit60
has worked for others:
I have just finished over two weeks of your BodyFit60 program, for
the Summer Fitness Challenge - which I am absolutely determined
to win! I must let you know how much I love your program and share
some of the benefits I have already experienced!!!
I've done the GoodLife Fat Loss program,
and did see some great results, but I hit a plateau afterwards.
Primarily, it was because I had some
unexpected changes that made it dificult to get into the gym. So,
I was really looking for a program that would change things up for
me like never before.
I believe I have found that in BodyFit60.
As a Personal Trainer, I think the intensity, variety, principles,
and support with your program are the
best in the industry.
I wasn't sure I would ever get back
to a healthy weight, or see the hard-earned muscular definition
I had a few years ago, after this past year. With chronic headaches,
TMJ, and a stomach ulcer from the meds. I took, getting to the gym
was an almost unthinkable task most days. I fell into a slump, hid
under unflattering clothing, refusing to look anyone in the eye
from embarrassment and shame. I knew so well, the benefits of exercise,
like how it would reduce my stress. With three kids - one with Autism,
a brain injury, and ADHD - I knew I had to do something to get out
of this rut and unhealthy cycle and back to "the goodlife".
Literally, the DAY BEFORE I saw your
poster for the BodyFit60 Summer Fitness Challenge, I said to a good
friend of mine, "I need a trainer and a program that will push
me and challenge me like never before"! How coincidental it
was that the next day, I saw your advertisement, in GoodLife Galleria?!
So, I signed up, despite moving into
our new home next week, having the three kids home this summer,
and all that goes with it! I am determined to win this contest,
and in the longer-term, achieve my renewed fitness goals!
Since I started BodyFit60, my daily
headaches have all but disappeared. My stress level is down dramatically.
My jaw doesn't hurt at all. And, my stomach feels fantastic. In
fact, I haven't taken an antacid since I started! And on a personal
note, PMS? What PMS...none, nothing, zippo last week! I told all
my girlfriends, they have to try this for so many reasons!
On Monday, we went to the beach, and
for the first time in a couple of years, I felt strong, healthy,
and confident wearing a bikini top. (Give me 6 more weeks and I
will be wearing the suit!) I can tell you, it brought tears to my
eyes, going into the water with my 4-year old son, instead of hiding
under a cover-up on the beach like last year, anxious that people
were staring or laughing at me. And last but certainly not least,
I have to tell you how thrilled I am with my trainer, Stu. I told
you I wanted to train with someone who would work me very hard,
was knowledgable, fun, and knew their stuff. Well, you definitely
gave me the right trainer, because he is so amazing!!! I've never
worked so hard in my life, and it feels fanastic.
I would love to see BodyFit60 in every
GoodLife in Canada this year!!! You guys are brilliant, and deserve
a HUGE pat on the back for the design and implementation of an incomparable
program!
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

I recently completed the BodyFit 60 Power Free Weights Program.
I believe it is an excellent program that offers variety while maintaining
structure and intensity. I began strength training with BodyFit
60 creator Mike McLeod in October, 1999. When we started the Power
Free Weights Program I was excited to realize the benefits of a
new program. And that is exactly what I got… results. Despite
being in fairly good physical shape already, I discovered there
is always room for improvement and ways to work your muscles differently
to achieve amazing results. I enjoyed this program because every
two weeks the program changes in terms of exercises performed, intensity
of each exercise and the contraction times of each rep. For instance
in Weeks 3 and 4, on the third set of a particular exercise I must
perform the positive contraction in one second, hold the position
for three seconds and take three seconds to complete the negative.
This is at 80% intensity. Because it was new to me it was hard!
But it is what my muscles needed to continue to gain strength. Every
two weeks I encountered variations in exercises. It really keeps
your body on alert. Any BodyFit 60 Program gives you the whole package.
You are not just getting a first-class strength training program
but you are keeping up your cardiovascular exercise and getting
nutritional advise as well. The recipes included are excellent and,
best of all, easy to prepare. By the end of the eight weeks I certainly
noticed a difference in my body. This is without even looking at
the numbers. I am not one to constantly check the scales and worry
over how much weight I am lifting. I know when I feel good and when
I am working hard. I definitely felt good during the program and
feel amazing after completing it. I increased my strength stamina,
muscular endurance and overcame a new test. I have recently begun
the Power Ball Program and am energized to take on a whole new challenge.

If anyone had told me four months ago that I would be leaving my
home three mornings per week to go and work out with a personal
trainer I would have laughed myself silly.
Four months later not only am I doing
exactly that, but I’m even looking forward to it.
At 42 years old, having not exercised
in over 20 of those years, I met Stu, a die hard Goodlife Fitness
Club member. He put me in touch with Mike McLeod, an elite trainer
at the club. Half an hour later I was hooked up with Jack Hewitt
and I began the most amazing series of programs.
I am currently finishing Powerball60
RT, a new program designed to take any free weight program to the
next level. Utilizing free weight training combined with having
to balance constantly on a stability ball has given a whole new
meaning to “Core strength.” My balance has improved,
my strength is improving almost every session and I have not felt
this great in a long long time.
Personal training will continue to
be an integral part of my new found fitness program for a long time
to come. I can hardly wait for the next program – Powerband60.
As I write this I think of Patch’s
words when he reminded me I can stay at this level and say “enough
is enough.” I guess my goals just got pushed a little further
lately.
